Welcome :smt039
and at least you are buying the right shaped model
haha, thanks.
I think its fate. Saw it once, liked it. Was on my Riding lesson and my instructor took me to exactly the same garage cause thats where he gets his bikes serviced, and it was just sat there glistening in the sun.
I'm already building a list of what i want to do to it.

Helo there - You're more than welcome to join us.
As we've just had a local ride out it'll probably be spring 2009 by the time we get our fingers out and arrange the next one. :p
Just joking - I'm sure the ball is well and truly rolling and we'll be out a few more times this summer.
Cheers Keith
good stuff. I got my test on the 6th July, Should be a pass first time, and then i'll be looking to join you. I'll take tail end charlie for a few months.
Hi Wester,
I pass through Blaby and Countesthorpe most days at about 7:40 and 17:00 to and from work on a silver blue pointy.
where are you getting the bike from ?
Wigstons not a hell hole, I've spent many an hour wandering around there when I was working that way. Its not the middle of the universe I'll grant you but its not that bad. Unless its gone down hill drastically recently anyway.
Best of luck for the test, fingers crossed.
and just today put down a deposit on a 2002 Black Curvy.
.
quick.................. its not to late, get a yellow one:takeabow:
ps......hello

Croeso! Wigston eh? Was at a wedding in Oadby over the weekend. You getting your bike from that little bike shop near St Peters church? He had a couple of nice curvey ones in there and a silver pointy. Can't remember the name of the place atm....

hello wester:D
I'm getting her from Spenders Garage, Just out in kibworth. your talking about Chris Sharpe's luckypants, i didnt really look at his stock. I saw the one i have the deposit down on on the way back from midlands superbikes. Then my instructor took me by the garage cause its where he has serviced his bikes, So i kept seeing her. it was like destiny :P.
Where abouts do you work Alan? Wigston aint that bad, its south wigston where it gets nasty, But it appears the little chavs have developed legs, and began to invade my neighbourhood. not good.....
And hovis, I've been riding with a yellow helmet for two years, thats enough for me thanks :P.
I used to be at Glen Parva Y.O.I. but I'm over at HMP Gartree now. If I fancy a trip out or go home a different way I go past Spenders, they have some good bikes in and one or two have caught my eye and nearly my pocket on occasion. Chris Sharpes's are good but I always found them pricey, mind you saying that I brought two helmets and a pair of leather trousers from there this year in the sale they had, helmets were half price and the trousers were £25. Just couldn't say no really.

so you work there or your an inmate there? lol, :D
whats glen parva Y.O.I like? knew a few lads who went there . . . said it was weird???
if youve been past spenders recently you might have seen her. Black SV rainbow tint screen. 2002.
Shes preeeeeeeedddy.
I'm staff not resident in HMP Lylej, if I was resident I'd not be popping out so regularly. Mind you if I was in Sudbury there wouldn't be a problem !!
Parva is a difficult environment to both be in and work in, its very confrontational and there are lots of lads in there with lots of problems. I always tried to be seen as someone who would talk to and help and that seemed to go down well enough. Biggest problem is though there are just so many who seem to go bad and revel in the idea of it. Funnily enough Gartree is full of life sentanced prisoners and I'm meeting some of the ones I looked after in Parva now.
