Right...........
I can't go to AR07 or make the "Meet up with Ed" ride due to other commitments, but I am free from about midday to ride anywhere I like (within reason!). No set time to be back as the family are away for the weekend :D
I plan to head north from Cardiff on the A470 and go beyond Brecon........ after that who knows? No set route, just me, the trusty Hairnet and a map.
Wanna join me?
How about a meet-up at the Storey Arms Burger Van (the one in the layby on the south-bound side of A470) for some light refreshment (yeah, right!) at 1:00pm before heading North/West for the afternoon and early evening, perhaps getting back to Storey Arms for about 8:00pm?

That would be nice, but just want to make it clear that I don't want to tempt people away from other, more long-standing plans; AR07 and the potential "Ed Meet Up" should have priority over this aimless bimble in the hills :thumbsup:

Well, they keep on changing their mind for this weeks weather by the looks of it.. still not rain forecast for friday... which is good!

given the changeable weather forecast, and that currently it doesn't look too great, I'll post on here by 11:00am on Saturday as to whether I'm going out on the bike or not.

Wimps! Im going out in it anyway... selling my power commander for the old Kwak.. so dropping that off, and picking ££££ up..
and will be out of the house.. and cant go back as my nan is up... so will have to find something to do all day... new waterproofs at HG are on the cards me thinks!
So, how was the weather? Hardly any rain here. But had a great day at our bike shop.
Now big question, should I buy a new Speed Triple or Tiger???

It rained... a lot.... and even more rain again on top of that... but I still managed to ride 250 miles around south wales... I got bored.. lol
I rode down to Pontypridd, sold off my Power COmmander, then went to HG in Cardiff... where they have a new member of staff... shes Polish... and no speak English good yes ?... but I think customers come in specificaly to speak to her! lol then took A48 to Swansea, A465 back to Aberdare, had a McDonalds, took A470 towards Brecon, then A40 to Llandovery, had more food... met the only other biker out on the roads.. he was riding a BMW GS.. and he said he was bored sitting at home as well! then rode back towards home.. went the back roads through Senny Bridge towards A470, then went down to Ponty again, went up to Ynys Y Bwl to see old work mate.. who wasnt in.. then went home....
going out again tomorrow! :smt045
My mate has the new Tiger, very impressive bike! very tall as well, but hes a short **** and can still sit on it...
