Hi, after much soul searching i have decided to sell my unfinished k5 race bike. I bought this as a road bike 16 months ago with the intention of converting it but due to work commitments it never got finished. I am now moving house so it has to go to fund the move. All the parts are there to complete it, and loads of the work has been done.
Completed: gsxr 600 k5 shock, ride height adjusters, Front cartridge conversion kit supplied by k tech. gsxr rear sets fitted. Remapped module fitted with k+n filter, timing retard eliminator, scorpion can, braided hoses, race pads (front), Race tyres.
Still to do: zx6rr race bodywork and seat unit to fit (brand new),
Fairing and clock bracket(not supplied).
Spares: race tyres with very little use(20 laps of knockhill), clip ons, 2 rear wheels and one front wheel, both with discs, brand new unused tyre warmers(diamond securities). This bike has only covered 2800 miles and will make an excellent bike once completed. I am selling this for much less than it has cost me in parts alone. £2500. I would also be willing to travel for a genuine buyer

Damn that's a good deal!
If I had the money to hand then I would've snapped that up here and now! :(

Not trying to put this bike down as it sounds like a great deal but just to warn you all the TRE has to be removed to make the bike minitwin legal and the adjustable ride hid would be interesting to to get more details on as i didnt think the shock had it?

Some questions:-

- Where roughly in ‘Scotland’ is it (Scotland is a big place ;)).
- Does it come with V5?
- Does it come with all the original road plastics and lights?

Also some pics would be really good :)

Hi, yes i have the v5 and the road plastics, undertray lights etc. I also have the v5. It seems i have not explained myself properly. The bike does not have a ride height adjuster fitted, it is different length of linkage rod that raises the rear of the bike. In scotland the tre does not have to be removed because there is no minitwins series as such. I am also pretty certain that the retard facility can be easily overridden which most sv racers would be able to help out with. This bike has had a lot of work done already eg the fork kit, which is not just springs and emulators but is a full cartridge replacement kit and springs to suit. I am in dunfermline which is 3 miles north of the forth bridge and 12 miles from edinburgh.

If I had the dosh I would be up there like a bullet...sounds a pukka deal and would make an ideal track day tool...but alas, the funds just do not allow.:(
