Great to see that you have stuck with a twin.
Don't get me wrong Viper, I really like Firestorms, just from my experience, a
fairly well ridden SV is more than a match for the Honda.
.............although, the Firestorm will be off at the first sign of a motorway! ;)

Glad to see you're still smiling about it.. :D
Viper.. Nice bike pal. Looking forward to seeing it on Thursday
I'll second the advice about crash bungs - I mentioned it to Luckypants about his new Viffer - those rads are obscenely delicately expensive.
Very nice, and actually looks good in Yellow - a rare thing for a Honda. ;) Welcome to the 'Reliable Club'. :)

Sounds like Mr Viper will be on the couch ALONE at this rate :smt005
He doesn't even get the couch, it's the muddy field for Viper and a deceased pig for company.

nice bike!
sooooooooooo............ how does the new bike compare to the SV?
Well sat on the motorway at the legal limit;) didnt manage to get her in to top gear. She si so comfy and efortless to ride on a motorway.
As for twisties, well it was quite wet so didnt have a chance to test her out.
Now back home i took her down the road in the dry and OH MY GOD that thing handles like the SV (light and agile) but pulls like a mule in lower gears.
She is blooming great:D
ermmm...................... and its a bulletproof honda
whats the differnace between a VFR & VTR?
I beleive ones a Vtwin (mine) other a IL4.
Correct me if i am wrong
VTR is 1000cc V-twin and VFR is 800cc V-Four
Both capable machines... I remember reading a quote about the VTR when it came out - Folks were hoping for a Honda 916 but what they got was a V-twin VFR....
Sums it up well I think....

oi! no way would I defect to the dark side. Wait till I get some proper cans on it, then you will realise it is defo not an IL4!

Glad to see you have unleashed the beast.
Now I might be wrong but I've a sneaky suspicion I've see that bike in V & J in Mudford.. if so you've got a peach it looked really tidy when I had a nose round it a while ago, they had two in there a Yellow un and a red un IIRC.

Might have been helped by the fact it's been imported, probably means my SV is worth about 2p!
Yep £1795 and only 8k on the clock:D
do you want to make £50 proffit?
Nice bike mate.......... well, it's a Honda :D
Now you'll know what its like to ride a "proper" V-Twin, i.e. one that doesn't lose its front cylinder in the wet :p
Might look good with a pink metallic topcoat over that yellow undercoat.
@stretchie
Soggy biscuits? In the army, were you ;)
