I've put this in bike talks and issues because this is an issue with my bike. Obviously as you can see my bike is a bit of a wreck, needs a paint if you cant tell. So what do we think?

NO! I have been shown a pic of a Honda Blackbird in Kwak green and it was terrible because it wasn't a Kwak.
Go for Triumph Nuclear Red :thumleft:
seems pointless ( & expensive) painting the whole bike, if it looks ok IMO
just paint the fairing?

I prefer unique lol
I actually quite liked the white SV that someone posted up a short while ago.
I don't normally like white bikes, but it worked on the curvy and would be something that bit different without going overboard.
i would leave the blue bits & just paint the fairing......... not sure what colour though
ps i voted yellow

Then again you can have folks bring little sample pots of paint and try them on the bike itself. ;)

multi-coloured BIKE !!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
very unique
I voted yellow, but you could put white stickers on the blue bits & blue stickers on the white bits - then when anyone asks jus say 'yeah, its meant to be that way' :thumleft:
-Black or White.
OR
black and white
OR
black and orange.
aww you not manage to sweet talk rad into selling you those fairings??
Paint it all white, then add a few choice splashes of yellow/blue.
Then buy a white helmet, and get a high vis vest :D
So long as you don't write "POLICE" on it anywhere, you're not breaking any laws. I remember a guy on an ST1300 that did a full force livery paint job, and rode around in high vis... never got done for it, and you can imagine what happened on his commute!!

White would be too pale with the silver frame IMO... That's what put me off, white needs contrast.
Gun metal was my number 2 choice. Maybe with silver stripes to match the frame. Choice 3 was black with... silver stripes. You might have noticed but I really like those silver stripes :) Ties the bike together nicely along with the frame.
Or, a darker red than the usual SV colour? Or, a very dark bronze/gold? I always thought the K3 copper was one of the nicest SV colours, but it could do with being a touch less red.

I like silver. My spare trackday plastics are (mostly) silver, it's a look I never liked till I tried it. Better with a black frame though.
Rattle can it matt black!
Pink!
The real term is Triumph Nuclear red. ;)

Any paint job unless it's to a factory colour is going to devalue the bike. So if that bothers you stick to an SV colour.
If it doesn't (and i suspect this is the case) then the cheapest option with some credability would I think be rattlecan black. If I didn't have a thing against riding black bikes (see avatar) this could easily have happened to mine.
If you're happy with a rat then you could just go a bit nuts with some rattle cans and do a sort of Graffitti job on it. If you are at the AR then letting everyone have a go would be kinda cool even if it did get lets say 'tweaked' at a later date.
As for a proper paint job and solid colour. Find something you like somewhere and go with that. Something original would strike me as making it worth the effort \ cost.
clearly the correct answer is BLUE.
That is all.

I agree. Mat black with charcoal/grey sv stickers (if your planning on putting stickers back on it).
