Very niceeeeeeee, love the all black SV. You look all stealthy. You'll need an aftermarket can though eventually for safety reasons ;). I've heard these K7's have twin spark plugs, What difference are they suppose to make?

If anyone has any recommendations on how to keep the bike in good nick (ie should I spray some WD40 on her or some form of protective coating?) then please let me know.

To be honest I dont know yet as I havent had a real chance to play with her. The dealer said that the K7 was no different from the K6 but I will have a look for the twin plugs later and get back to you.

looks very nice, however i think you need more black, carbon exhaust and dark visor should complete the "i could disappear into the night" look...

or i might just be jealous... definitely aftermarket can required though, i'm still waiting on back order for my stubby to come in *cry*

oh, and watch out for dust, give it a couple of days in the garage and you'll know what i mean:grin:

Just found this site after looking http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=26974 tells us a little about it. Something to do with emissions, should have guessed.

"New for ’07 the SV650 series will now be available with ABS and additionally all SV650 models come equipped with new dual spark plug heads for improved combustion and reduced emissions."

Very tidy bike, and I can only second the comments above. You need a dark visor, and a can that makes it growl like a tiger rather than purr like a kitten.

I am not sure how accurate this article is as there was definately no ABS option for the bike. It could be that the K7 is identical to the K6.

Could have sworn they were bringing out an ABS option at some point, must have knocked it on the head!!!!

I believe that ABS and twin sparks are the US spec one.

Could be wrong tho

My thoughts exactly, plus a pair of dark headlight covers for the ultimate stealth SV look.

Beautiful! I have an '08 in the Blue. I did as most suggested with the darker windshield. I also replaced the ugly rear. All my mods are fully reversible to stock. See pics here https://picasaweb.google.com/111040669807561165704/BikePicsForAll?authkey=Gv1sRgCNLbhOmkk5G9wwE&feat=directlink
