Very make me laughing.Mr.Walker super chappie.

Today in race,(I watch later of course) TV Espaņa went to speak to Ducati team boss. he say Casey go great but he more happy as Loris carving through field. At this moment screen split to show Loris sliding along floor!

Expression and groan from Mr.Ducati was priceless!:p :p

Great man.The world is becoming alarmingly short of characters like that as everything morphs into corporate blandness.
The Murrayism I remember is from touring cars"The car on it's roof is a Toyota" when the then current Toyota marketing slogan was "The car in front is a Toyota"

superb ,i was laughing out loud as well ,,total classics ,i watched the interview today on moto gp with him and rossi ,,,what a character as somebody said motor sport in general is going a(already there)way towards commercial faceless venture ,,we need the characters ,imean who would you rather go for a pint with ,dani pedrosa or hopkins ??silly question really ;)

The one I always remember was when he was commentating on a Rally Cross event.

"And now ??? in the Mini Cooper has taken the lead, this means he has a clear track ahead and will be able to see where he's going"

With that the Mini hits a large pile of tyres (I think) and turns onto it's roof :smt044

I have read his autobiog, and very entertaining it was too. Things you may not know, is that he was part of the team that came up with the original Opal Fruits slogan. "Made to make your mouth water"

He has lead a varied life.

I'm normaly not intimidated by people, but if I ever met murray walker, i may just faint. He's a god, and F1 has got worse since he gave up commentating.

I think he should make a commentating appearance at this years silverstone GP

I remember when he did a very moving obituary tribute to James Hunt,when he confessed to thinking that he was to be elbowed out when Hunt first came on the scene as a comentator.In fact the Hunt Walker double act was probably the best F1 team ever,with Walker's enthusiastic brilliance set against Hunt's genuine expertise and acid tongue.Great to see him still going strong.
