I hope so - had an xk5 gsxr 600 but had to sell, then had the sv as a stop gap - looking forward to the uniqueness of the 750 :)

Sweet choice Chipnix, can I ask if the XK5 you had came with a gear indicator in the dashboard!! - If not can the clocks from the K6 fit and work?

There was no gear indicator, and unfortunatley I dont know if it would be as simple as changing the clocks, im sure someone else can answer that one though.

By uniqeness I'm sure you mean power wheelies, kneedowns and mind blowing speed? Thought so. You'll love it!
Why do you need a gear change indicator? Or did you mean a gear indicator? You can buy an electronic gear indicator. As for gear change, just wait till you hit the redline, then change!

Nice bike.
I can't help wondering, why anybody would buy a Sportsbike brand new, when there are so many idiots who trade in, sell off 1-2 year old Motorbikes with absolutely no miles on them. Do they like burning money?
Looks like their loss is your gain!

Dan, don't worry, they won't be seen dead near an SV forum. ;)
Nowhere nearly 'trendy' enough for them. :(

It is mad, I was going to go for a k7 750, 8k odd with accessories...but found this at just over 4k, its a no brainer really.

That is a good price.
I bought my K5X 750 brand new, but it had been sat in a dealers from new so it was the outgoing model when I bought it in 2006.
List price was £8400, I paid £6995 for it. Which I thought was a good price at the time.
