that poor young man. I had visions of his foot coming off with his boot. I went back in morrisons to get him some painkillers to suffice til he downed a crate of beer when we got back to camp.....another person who has more jam than Hartleys:thumright: Hats off to him he didn't complain

Round a right hand bend, boots musta bin wet and slipped off peg, foot hit ground and then under the tyre, bit of a bump (obviously) but stayed on (somehow)

it was something on the lines of...his foot slipped off the footpeg backwards and got caught on the rear wheel.
later on it started aching and me riding behind him saw him practically dragging his foot on the floor at speed. nearly removing it from his leg. poor lad was really in pain

bin physio did some stretches on the achilies, all strapped up for coupla days.

I think his foot slipped cos he was feeling a bit sleepy... having eaten all the pies...
