Our friends over the bridge are reporting a disturbing scenario involving this unmarked police car in the Swansea area.

It is being *claimed* that this car is being driven fast and up close behind bikers in an attempt to provoke them into speeding.

Hypothetically, if this did happen to you the advice is not to react, stop when safe, and make a note of the time and date (the reg is in the photo) and make a formal complaint in due course.

As you know, I'm normally very supportive of the Police and have a friend in the service. Hopefully there's no truth to this.

Worryingly not many distinguishing marks that this is a police car - no extra aerials, mirrors etc.

apparently that car usually operates with the numberplate recognition van to catch baddies. it's on the lookout for terrorists coming into cardiff at the moment and seems like it's there 24/7.

cardiff already looks like a bomb has hit it!! the middle of town is a massive building site.

i can't imagine that terrorists would bother targetting cardiff anyway.

friend of mine was caught by an unmarked Blue Honda Accord (RX52???), going towards Calne from the Beckhampton Roundabout. so there must be a few of them about

Spotted this today on my brisk walk over to HG to pick stuff up today.. twas parked outside the millenium stadium, and it is a VOSA/DVLA car... so is after the tax and insurance dodgers more than anything else...

Cardiff was crawiling with Police today though...

Has been all week, but I have no problem with that.

Good on 'em, and far better than spending 3/4 of their day filling in forms.

yeah, but when you get off the train in Cardiff and see a load of them inspecting cars in the car park you are now walking through.. lol

But you are right, rather see them than not see them....
