Sorry to hear that, i'd hold on and wait for your re-test. Don't bother with a 125 if you ask me. The SV will only go as fast as you want it to, you can happily pootle around on it and progress slowly. At least you know what to expect from the test and next time you will be a lot more confident..

As for not being able to do rideouts on a CBR125....................B*ll*x. Our mate Clo came all the way to Devon and back with us on hers before she passed her test.................and we had 1000cc sports bikes along too. We've also done 250 mile plus, 20+ bike rideouts with a couple of people on 125's, and never lost one:D We would regroup occasionally, but none of the faster riders minded waiting for a couple of mins for the 125 riders to catch up. If you feel that you want to be out there riding NOW, and can buy a 125, why not;)

Sorry to hear that, as others have said. I'd hold out and wait for a re-test, just get more miles under your belt if poss, probably a 'nerves' thing
