I have swapped my original exhaust on my Z750 for a remus powercone without a cat. The bike has started to make a light clicking noise that is being caused by the exhaust change (I swapped them back to check) Some one on the Z forum suggested that the noise was being caused by the reed valves cliking because they are no longer needed to feed a fresh supply of air to the exhaust system, this actually makes the most sense to me, but i might be wrong.

The real question is do I need to block the inlets and outlets to the fresh air system, is it going to affect fueling etc, or is it safe to cotinue clicking away.

Sounds like an identical system to the Suzuki PAIR setup. Blocking off the holes will be nice and simple, check on the Z forum for info on how to do it.

There are PAIR removal systems for Suzuki's, all they do AFAIK is stop the exhaust backfiring, why would you want to do that!
