Finally sorting out my videos, here's some trackside footage of blue (yellow SV), Rictus (blue triumph), and Weaselz (black/yellow SV) at Lydden last year.

That Rictus is pretty good for an old fella!! Sorry dude!:D

He'd probably still be leading even with the dodgy leg!!

Cool Vid, makes me wanna go & do Lydden! :D

Do they have a novice group or is it all out at once?

they have a novice group. I can't believe its nearly been a year already was such great fun. Was going to do Lydden again and was going to book it for the 18th but got told to keep that weekend free for a house warming as a friend is moving in near us... hmmm track day or getting drunk a few doors away!!!! hmmmm... i'll be getting P*ssed me thinks lol.

hehe, you caught the point there where I was filming Rictus01, therefore I should have the matching onboard footage, I'll dig it out ... merging the two might make for a cool clip? :smt025

Its nifty how you have all three of us in there (Lydden is really cool for spectators), you can clearly see the Weasel taking massive chunks out of us every lap!! 8) :D

Is that you looking for a comment along the lines of "and there goes Bluey neeeyaaaaw ... finally bugging out after getting bored filming Rictus"

I didn’t post the video!! … besides, it was obvious that is what happened, so not worth mentioning ;) … but I am certainly glad that Tim didn’t choose to cut the video 20secs earlier!! :D

Yep unfortunately the tape ran out.

I'll post some on board footage once I've got round to editing it, it'll end up looking like I've cut all the people overtaking me out, but honestly there weren't that many ;)

Without getting too exacting about it, I have cut the onboard vid to about the same time slot as Tim's trackside, so here is the matching onboard vid 8)

Does Lydden have a noise limit?

Of course! you mean what is it.
well Acu is 105 dB at 5500 rpm from http://www.acu.org.uk/uploaded/documents/ACU%20HANDBOOK_0107_v2.pdf page 243

Mmmm might stuggle to meet that! Suggestions other than a new can.

Mine is a carbon micron with the micron pipework as well. No obvious means of fitting a baffle.

105 is quite generous ... a full race system (presuming undamaged) should be fine.

My bike (which now has a damaged can) was 104. Beforehand 99.

I guess if needed I could always use the coke can & gaffer tape bodge! :D

Thats a cool matching vid blueSV650s! I like it when you blow past, and really crank on the speed.
