is this an sv650sy, or an sv650sx???

Neither, that's not a curvy.

Edit: If that's your bike in the pic, its a SV650S K3

Neither thats a K3 I would think, The SX and SY are curvey models.

Neither! SV650SX and SV650SY were both curvey models (1999 and 2000 I think).

That is a pointy so will be a SV650SK3/K4/K5 dependant on year.

Look on your V5 it will give the model designation. As a 2003 it is most likely a K3.

I might also point out that the list as shown is for Naked SV650, not the faired SV650S version shown in the piccie.

I had the same hassle with bike trader. In the end I put it down as a SK2 and in the text wrote SK3 and the year. If you look at the mag - all the SV's are the same. Kind of annoying.

That is an SK3...If I remember correctly the K3 was the only pointy silver model.
