I rode through one on the way home tonight- it was heading over Esher, Tolworth and heading on over New Malden by the looks of things.
Got rained on, hailed on (ooch!) and the lightning and thunder were spectacular. It was almost right overhead at one point.
Thunderstorms don't arf give me the right 'orn!

I know what you mean!
We used to get 'em nearly every afternoon in the summer in SA...:(
Two people in Thetford got struck by lightening last Wednesday or Thurs? Their dog died :( Apparently they had an umbrella up...oops!
I love thunder storms...I get all hyper :D

I was caught in it today!!
When I felt the first cold trickle on my left (Why always the left one?) knacker, I knew I was in trouble! :D
On the plus side though I did see the Glaxo building, by the A4 elevated section, get struck!
And further down the M4, a double strike one on each side of the motorway similtaniously (sp). Very cool!!

Nothing in central London with a bit a dribble in South east London about 7, But My Station Manger at Sittingbourne complained when I sent her out at 10 this morning because of the massive downpour and hailstorm going on which seemed to miss everywhere else
