Me!
Had this training course that's been booked for ages now. It's a 3 day c# course in Croydon (eugh!). Studied the maps this morning - I acutally didn't have a map I took various bits of maps from the Thompson's directory & yellow pages.
Set off early, just in case I got lost. I got lost but ressurrected things. Hooray! Got there at 8.20. Went to the class room & the instructor welcomes me to the 3 day javascript course. He was being a bit surly & arrogant & not v/helpful (there may be a 3 day c# course on today but he couldn't/wouldn't tell me where). I phoned my office to confirm the tel no so I could phone some other person at the training centre.
My colleague confirmed I was at the right buildling for the 3 day course....BUT IT's NEXT WEEK.
PLONKER.
Took me 15 minutes to go the 8 miles from Croydon to Clapham (result!), then a further 45 mins to go the 5.5 miles from Clapham to central London.
I am now sat at my desk with the dunces cap on that my colleagues have made for me. It wouldn't be so bad but I actually was the one that booked the course & the last thing my boss said yesterday was, "I'm sure your course is next week".
Still I found a parking space outside my office at 9.45! (Well actually moved two mopeds out of the way).
