k5 (black frame) a few mods, but i would want inc lowers, scottoiler, heated grips

both low milage (7000)

i prefere the look of the black frame

as you know i love the alloy frame in ALLOY not black. suzukis black frames dont wear well they look tatty quickly.

The man who sprayed silver paint over your SV frame - it's worn through just under the tank on my silver framed K3, where the previous owner's knees used to sit. My bike's got just under 25,000 miles on it, so expect yours to look the same in about 15 years.

I would look for a K3 and spray the frame black, or maybe find a K3 subframe and spray that black and attach it to a K4+. It seems loads of people don't notice but when you put them side by side the K4+ tail just looks too low! The K3 has a much sportier looking profile, IMO.

And I think the black frame will scratch easily, certainly if the black paint on my GSX-R is anything to go by!

I prefer the looks of the K5 when brand new, but a well used K4 with shiny bits where boots/knees have 'polished' the frame looks a lot better than a K5 with the black paint missing in patches. ;)
