I've been thinking about upgrading to a FZ1 Fazer and today i got 2 insurance quotes.

I tried hastings direct and bennets as both were both by far and away cheaper than anyone else for TPFT my old sv, and i was expecting them to come out similar.

How wrong was i?

Hastings - £977.17:eek: :(
Bennets £328.26 :smt023

Both fully comp with 200 excess. Wonder which one to go with?

i'm 32 and live in the sticks with a garage :bball:

However i've only had my liscence 10 months and have only 1 year NCD.

keep trying different companies - the differences between quotes are amazing.

Dunno really yet - probably either blue or black. They call their blue one ocean mist or something - lol. it almost as bad as dulux paint names.

New Leaf, you sound like you're in the same boat as me, only a little older.

Living in the sticks is ace. A GSXR750 would only cost me £30 more a year than the SV!!

Happy hunting for insurance, and don't forget to check out www.gocompare.com ... good comparison website.

Cheers for that! Miles better than anyone else - found someone who would do tpft on an R1 with a £5000 part fault accident 2 years ago for just under £250 instead of the £1000 everyone else seemed to want. Soooo tempting...
Anyone want to buy a K4 SV for £4000? ;)
