Riding home on the A3 today, I was coming up to a speed camera, and so I rolled off to keep within the speed limit, when it flashed just as I was hitting the first white marker....

Which scared the **** out of the poor girl on a vespa who was doing about 30 (in a 40) and was on the lines 20 feet in front of me.

I thought it was so funny, I was grinning at her when I passed... you should have seen the look of confusion on her face!!

Someone posted an article about it recently, IIRC it was some bloke on a BMW who regularly did it. They traced him, nicked him and prosecuted him! :(

True Jester, but he was taking the p**s. Did it almost daily, and if memory serves, the times he wasn't giving a salute, the front wheel was off the floor!

Also, he rode a pretty unique bike, something like only 3 in the area his colour, and only his had the mods to the lights?
