That is gorgeous. Takes me back to my first biking days when I had the 250 version.

Lovely, what is it. I thought it was a H2, but I can't see the other pipe...

The Kawasaki 2 stroke triples had their exhausts in an unbalanced lay out which has two exhausts on one side with the left hand cylinder exhaust routed on the left side of the bike. I assure you it will be there.;)

Oh I know that, I meant I couldn't see the 3rd header pipe (which I thought you'd be able to from that angle). I really like the H2, I saw a brand new one (0 miles, never had oil in it, plastic still on the seat) in a bike shop in America. Sadly not for sale. :)

Ive ridden one of those.Well to be truthful,I wobbled about on it and scared myself silly, and a mate had the 250 version. They were the ultimate triumph of Japanese ability to build great engines and total inability to build suitable frames to go with.hence the rise of firms like Rickman,Harris,Bimota and Spondon who could supply the required parts.:p

Thats a 2-stroke isnt it? Hows a 2-stroke large (ish) capacity bike ride?
There should be more 2-strokes. Stupid global warming

I'd *guess*, that all-told, an SV would show it a clean pair of heels. Like most high-performance two-strokes, absolutely mental when you hit the power band. But using it hard over a reasonable distance versus an SV, you'd either a) give up because of the 'interesting' handling, or b) run out of fuel.:p
i rode with one of those things a few weeks back.
the noise alone was enough to get my mouth watering.

I salivate at the sound of an RGV250 pelting past me....i'd love to hear one of these. The best sound I ever heard was the V4 500cc GP bikes at donny in 2001...

If you ever got the chance to ride the H2 or the 500 version the H1 and gave it the bifters on the gas.You would NEVER forget the experience! Hitting the power band was literally like having your arms ripped out at the shoulder joints. It was an art in itself keeping the front end anywhere near the ground under hard acceleration. Absolutely fooking insane! But hey that was the 70's when men were men! LOL
As mentioned the handling...well what handling? But a screaming, smoking big 2 stroke really is a thing of beauty and inspiration. Guaranteed to get the adrenalin flowing just listening to one being revved at the lights.

I've been there. Don't forget to mention no brakes to speak of.
