The Toaster.

It gets Hovis all hot and hard.

It's a bike FFS, if it has to be given a name, call it " 'Blade"...

Or "browned off"?

I like the "I don't care hard on the outside" appearance, but the "soft of the inside" comes through in the end... "call it 'blade" :smt056 :D

Not to tempt fate, but if it breaks down it could be called "Brown Bread" (think about it).

A vote for "Bread Knife" from me though. :)

OK, "The 'Blade", that's how mine gets called.... (It's not just a "bike", it is a 'Blade, there is a difference :D )

Does lead on to the come-back

"Yeah, It's just like a litre sports-bike, just slower"

:D

But it's not a litre sportsbike... Young Hovis' machine is 919cc mine is 954cc.

And my point was, it's not "just another bike", there is something special about a 'Blade that only those that have owned them can understand...

And there's nothing "slow" about my bike.... (except perhaps me..)

Hovis has, in my opinion, made an excellent choice of machinery.

Sounds as if you're getting quite emotional about this. We can see you care deeply about your mechanical offspring, but surely, its a bike FFS:D

As per dictionary--"Blade"= Light-headed,reckless young man. so you could call it Blade's Blade;)

So Hovis, what's it gonna be?

hovis
19-07-07, 10:14 PM
it all ready has a name, but not sure i like it

The 'Blade is called Buster, it's what gave me the idea for my user name.

Reason it got christened, quite rare for any of my bikes, is the attitude it's got. You have to bust speed limits and most other rules of the road.... Plus the 'Blade has caused a few magistrates to have burst blood vessels, so Buster Bloodvessel (Madness) was also an influence.

The bloke doesnt know his singers, Buster Bloodvessel was the lead singer of Bad Manners not madness, now runs a hotel for fatties in Margate

trouble is, i dont know what to do with it, its been to the garage & the mechanic said he has tried every thing.
fitted a new CDI & its now running, i need to take it out alot & only stop when i get home just in case, although i do have breakdown cover so perhaps if i should phone them.

do you have to pay to call them out?
