As the title says, Quedos and I popped over to see Marc (and Hazel) last night. Thinking to ourselves that they had visitors in (busy driveway), we pulled up in the driveway and took off the lids for a chat.

Lo-and-behold Marc comes to the door - pretty much the last thing that we were expecting given what he's been (and still going) through. Not surprisingly, he looks a fair bit different to how we last remebered with a shed load of weight (sorry Marc- Muscle) off, and the threat of another generous serving to go (retained fluid) :smt119 .

Both are holding up well from what we could tell over a cuppa and blether, but as you can imagine - they're climbing the walls with him hanging around the house.

Slow but steady progress would seem to be the order of the day, and that's what both of us wish for him, since speedy recoveries are no good if they result in a relapse.

He tells us that he's not quite up to posting on here at the mo and that isn't surprising since the bike's way too heavy for him at this point in time.

Anyway, I just wanted to post an update without extending the existing thread. People lose track after so many pages.

Cheers,

Garry;)

Last time I was in he had got rid of all his previous retained fluids (b4 his recent spell in hospital) and he really was quite slim. 13 1/2 stone as apposed to his former 17 1/2, it does take you by surprise a fair bit! Was he in good spirits? Must phone him!

I'm not so sure about "good spirits" as such, but he did seem happy that we'd dropped by and took time to not only admire Qs new ride, but to sit on it!

Do you think he'd be up to it for coming round here and cutting my grass? You know, just to get him out of the house? ;)

Perhaps not mate, but the offer's there. HTH...

If I lost 4 stone I'd go transparent :smt104 Thanks for posting this, it's good to know he's coming along.
