So funny, can you imagine if someone put that on a kids prog today?

When I was a kid we'd go to a country pub with mum and dad and I'd say 'Dad, can I have a glass of the weakest possible weak* beer'

*not really but you get the point

and he'd say 'No, of course you can't but you can have a glass of cider'

I used to enjoy the odd drop of cider. However I found it's laxative qualities rather concerning!:-?

Me and my mate discovered a really good bar in bristol, its a boat mored up somewhere I think the Park Street kind of area, that all they sell is Cider, we spent a couple of hours in there and were nicely hammered when we came out

Asda sell some Brothers Cider, if you can get the pear stuff its really nice and they were selling 3 bottles for £4 the other week when I was there.

Young Dani, does your mamma know you've been sampling the appley delights, stay away from the scrumpy cloudy stuff it realy does upset your tummy.

Oh and Dry Blackthorn isnt proper cider...

Cant beat a drop of the old mad apple, some great cider places round here the best by far though "Tuckers Grave" proper cider with all the floating snarllygogs in the glass :D That'll be your laxative qualities Mr Pedrosa ;)

I think it might be, it was literally across the street from a paved area that was surround by 3 or 4 pubs, there was definately a jazz band playing in one of them.

My memory is a bit hazzy I was on a stag do !!!

Kwak - Magners is OK, but trust me its nothing compared to some of the ciders they had in that bar, Try the Brothers stuff its really nice.
