I have just insured my Sv with DEVITT insurance brokers.
Although I am 48 I do have 6 points and the premium was £95.00 fully comp with only a £200.00 excess.
Their customer service was 1st class. :)

You lucky bugger!! :)
Ive been on the phone to bennetts today, im covered with Axa through bennetts and when checking, they will void my policy if i put an aftermarket can on!!
Gutted as i cant get a semi decent quote from anywhere else!:(

I am with Devitt too having changed from Premium Choice - Despite the same company (Equity Red Star) insuring me 1 for TPFT and Devitt FC, the cost was the same....I obviously went with Devitt! I agree their customer service so far has been faultless.
I hope they are just as competitive now that I have passed my test and will be moving to a bigger bike.

I'm with Devitt too, the quote they gave me was about £200 cheaper than anyone else, I have an extortionate excess tho :-(

I just switched my policy from a SV to a R6 and it only cost me £120. Excess is only a few hundred as well! Good old Carole Nash :) ....they have best service by an absolute mile as well.

You only find out how good an insurance company is when you make a claim.
Most of them are polite when they're taking money from you.

I switched to Devitt and they are just as ****e as Bennetts. I've been with them for 3 months and every single week I get a letter requesting my bank details for the direct debit mandate otherwise they will cancel my policy within 7 days.
Every week I remind them I paid in full 3 months ago.
Devitt are not an insurance company, just a brokers but they normally manage to find me a good deal, £140 FC for two bikes and a rider policy :)

Never had a problem although Devitt will not deal with claims directly if its Equity Red Star as the unedrwriter, they just pass you over to them
devitts dont like me :( last year when i bought the SV they wouldnt come any lower than £1200 fully comp for me little SV,tis garaged etc etc, after a day ringing the world and his wife from the bike trader back pages i got it down to £497 with a local broker in MK,rung devitt back and they still wouldnt come down, just done my renewal with same broker for £386 fully comp, i am a happy bunny!!!!
