View Full Version : Whats the collective term for a group of SVs
OK we live in a world where things in a collection or group are given a name. We have a school of fish, a pod of whales (or even Welsh ;) ).
So what would you call a group of SVs?
For other bikes there could be a flight of Fireblades, a brace of beemers, a hoard of hondas or even a gaggle of gixers (or more like a giggle of gixers ;) ) or a heap of Hornets.

Do you use soft or hard 'g' in 'gixer'? I use soft...thought that was the universally accepted one but might be wrong!!
Cos in that case 'jiggle of gixers' might sound better lol :p

I refer you all to a line from a song in Symphony X's new album, Paradise Lost:
"Down the plains come hellriders"
It certainly would sound like hell, a bunch of SV's with loud exhausts. Skys of thunder!

Just looking at that list on wikipedia. Guess what the collective noun for Boars is? A 'Singular' of Boars. Is someone taking the mick or what? :)
Edit: I reckon a 'Slew of SVs' is good.
A giggle of Gixers
