The bikes and talk issues cooled off from last week and I got bored. So here is a linky to a video of what I do in my spare time! http://youtube.com/watch?v=cl0p7UAviXI:smt040

Enjoy!

p.s. I'm behind the camera just cause I'm the old guy...

Aaahhh those were the best spent days of my youth...jumping from cliffs/bridges and wherever else we could.

Of course you being in the US means you have the advantage of the weather/water being warm and no turds floating past as you surface :)

Yep, it was 90 degrees F that day, we had to have the shoes on or our feet would have been crazy burnt. Plus, who wouldn't want to jump off of a 70+ ft cliff once just to say you did it, right?

No ;) you would have to give me wings. Plus I'm scared of heights as well :D

That quarry and water looks so good it looks fake! Lovely vid, I love the belly flop about halfway through haha. The really high ledge jumps are awesome.

Two questions:
1) What is a "gainer"
2) Where did you get Metallica doing a cover of the Ennio Moricone song? I have never heard it before.

1) A gainer is when you run off forwards and do a backflip.
2) My little bro edited the video clips and added the sound track so I'll have to get back to you.

p.s. you should have seen the kid that slipped off the ledge below the highest jump we did...He literally had cuts from hitting the water on his side! He was pretty upset about that. Looked about like a bad sunburn plus bruises.

One of the first front flips you see from across the quarry was about a 12m jump. The highest was about 25m! It's quite a thrill because you can't see the water before you jump. You have to get a running start to clear a 2m wide ledge below!
