Has anyone noticed a strange vibration at around 70 which no amount of head positioning will prevent? I have and thought I may have a problem with the engine but it seems to be ebbing away the more miles I put on it. The first time it happened I felt my face going numb it was so bad. I think I've isloated the problem yet searching the forum no-one else seems to have mentioned it. The screen is vibrating quite badly at 5200rpm (70mph) and this is vibrating the air flowing over the screen like a loudspeaker vibrates the air and you feel it in your chest. This vibrating air is hitting me square in the helmet and imparting the vibes into my face!!!!

Has no-one else had this problem? Its at it worst at around 75 but is weakening as time goes by! Probably just a running in thing....I hope so!:D

in normal seating position the airflow will hit you in the chest, in a semi crouch it will hit you in the helmet (mmm semi , helmet?) a double bubble screen may help, or it may be that you have a noisy crash helmet?

The wife looked over my shoulder to see what speed we were doing only this afternoon on a quick blast down the bypass and she said her face went tingly and it made her nose itch, the vibes that is! She wears a Shoei but the vibrating air mass got her too! Spoke to an owner tonight and he said he'd not heard of anything like it before! Do I have a lemon???????:(

We were doing 70mph honest officer..thats roughly (pun?) where the vibes start! :D Thats why she was interested in the speed!
Maybe my face just needs to get use to the numbing effect!

I'll keep you posted!

Mine vibrates, and sometimes squeaks, but thats cus one of the lugs that holds it on is broken. I just ignore it, or ensure my ear plugs are in... when I do that it just goes away!
