Dude. I spent most of the morning finishing the repair of my fairing then refitting it. Then I had to drop off my camcorder to Vix in Keynsham and then decided to head to Aber bus station. Once across Bristol I stopped in a layby and sent a txt to VB and Beenz that I'd be there in about 40mins. And when I got there they were both there along with Cuffy, El Saxo and Stretchie. Good Times.
On the other hand, as has often been the case I could just as easily have turned up and found no-one there. Bad Times.

Fantastic ride - not sure that I've ridden that consistently fast before for such a long time. I'm worn out!
Fish Hill, Cirencester :) :) :D :D :D :D
(I think the Chilli was pretty good - thanks for the Beenz, sorry, beens - just too many around and non to be found!:p )

Don't worry mate, the group was quite small with riders of similar ability who knew the roads quite well. No one gets left behind.:smt045

Theres hope for me yet then! :D
Saw some absolute fruitcakes out last night, the one was a very good rider in the way he could get his knee down consistently within an inch to the floor bearing in mind he had a pair of old jeans on as protection for his knees/legs!!, but on the other hand there was just no need to ride like such a ****!
The way he flung the bike around though just hits home how little experience i have and that maybe a track tuition type day maybe money well spent at some stage in the near future!!
Still, im having lots of fun learning and every trip is an adventure on the bike!
Love it!:D
Ollie, rideouts are not races, even the one last Sunday. Yes it was a little quick but not really competitive.
Enjoy each ride, examine other riders lines and braking points, it won't be long before you spot the numpty from the safer spirited rider. The most important thing is don't ride beyond your comfort zone. By all means push it but don't go beyond.
Have fun.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, we aren't complete loons -
As Beenz says, this is all in good heart and no one (that I know) would push it to put someone beyond their limits so don't worry - no one gets left behind all you need is the sense to ride within your own limit and not be ashamed of being slower or whatever. :D

Unless you come across a blackbird with a pillion, aint that right beenz .lol! poor sod musta been screaming inside that helmet.
Ollie, like the rest said, just ride within your limits and don't try anything stupid on unfamiliar roads, Sunday was a hoot because like beenz said we knew the roads, yet on saturday when i went to Wales with beenz and Xan i let them go off at there own pace because i wasn't sure of the roads, if your out with a decent bunch people will always pull over and wait for the more inexperienced riders in the group. No one will think any different of you if you roll up 5 min's behind the rest.
Next oppurtunity you get try and get on a rideout as it will improve your skills, follow other peoples lines.
Fizz gave a great tip on my 1st rideout, dont hide at the back thinking that no one will see how you ride, as you'll find you'll be riding faster to keep up.
Try and sit behind the leader of the group, this way you'll be following an experienced rider, watch his lines and depending on what machine he's on look for brake lights ;) (not always good if your following someone who uses engine braking alot )
Hope to see you soon.

Fizz gave a great tip on my 1st rideout,
and for my next great tip, dont sit to close behind Cuffy, just in case his pillion seat detatches from his bike.
and my 3rd great tip, sometimes Stretchie leaves his tankbag on a petrol pump, this is a good opportunity to get free petrol whilst he isnt looking
:p :D
did he have orange leathers?
Did who have orange leathers?
