Hello all, newbie here, been lurking for a while but thought it time to introduce myself.

Passed my test on Wednesday and bought a curvy sv650 yesterday! :D

With a bit of luck Ill be picking it up next weekend, once its been restricted and my cheque clears.

So the question that springs to mind is how wide is the bike? I have a brick shed that I plan on keeping it in but the only access is through a pretty standard back gate. I can get a scooter through with ease (once the mirrors are folded) but im worried that I wont be able to get the sv in.

Cheers in advance!

Well strictly speaking if you can fit a pointy in then you can fit a curvy in, suzuki give the overall dimension of the pointy as
Overall length:2085mm (82.1in)Overall width:730mm (28.7in)Overall height:1170mm (46.1in)

work it out from that :D

welcome by the way

Hi and welcome:D I used to keep my bike around the back of the house and it will fit through a standard door way 2'9". But now Ihave built a shed on the side of my house for ease!

Thanks guys,

Thats cool I've got 850mm of clearance with the gate open so it should be easy.

Hello and congratulations, hope you enjoy your curvy; whether or not it will fit in your shed I'll have to leave to the experts.
