View Full Version : new bridgstones bt021...amazing!!
had a pair of bridgstone bt021 fitted today on the SV1000S
highly recommended!! :):):):)
Cant beleive how grippy they are for a sports touring tyre
I have them on my cbr. They have done some serious motorway mileage, and twisties aswell, and they have not squared off one bit. Other half has some bt014, done the same journey, squared off quite badly.
In my opinion a full on sports tyre is only needed on the track, otherwise these are a superb tyre. Which I think would suit most persons riding style.

Yep, I'm really tempted to try them next time... But I just bought a cheap set of part-worn Stradas so it'll be another 5000 miles before I do :smt109. The 020 was still not far behind the latest competition by the end, so I'm dying to see what its successor can do.

i found the standard pilots much better than the standard 650 tyres, will have to give the 021 a try when i need rubber.
can i ask how much you paid??

I paid 186 fitted . great so far but i think scrubbing the edges is taking a while longer than the z6's, not a bad thing tho! and in the rain the 21's wee all over the 6's
186...thats a good price..
i paid 210 for my pair fitted (did take the bike tho, not loose wheels)
Was out on em again last night, and am even more impressed now...
them bt021's have changed me from guarded cornerer to Mr Valentino Rossi!!
(well almost!!) :)

Hmmmm My Viffer came with 020s on it. I liked these before and like them now. Discovered right side was scrubbed to the edge today, left almost there. That is without 'going for it', so it seems thay are inspiring confidence. If the 021s are better still, I have much to learn about the limits of modern rubber.
Could someone give me the sizes of both front and rear for a k6, I need to start to get prices.. Thanks
