Sorry for the unimaginative title! My name is Steve, I'm a new rider, new SV650S owner. I passed my DAS a few weeks back and then bought a W reg SV650S in black. Not sure what else there is to say... I'm in Reading, I'm still a bit of a nervous rider in places, that's about it!

Welcome to the forum man. i'm just north of you in Oxford. If you ever fancy meetin up for a ride out or a drink etc give us a shout - Warthog is local too, and spends far too much time on the forum ;). ive got a 2002 blue curvy. There are some pretty nice roads between oxford and reading - can never remember the name of all the villages though.

What he said :p

On a more serious note come along on Thursday for a brew/ride and introduce yourself. Were mostly strangers anyway as we only had our first meet on Sunday.

You probably mean the A4074. I rode from Reading out through Henley, Bix, Nettlebed to Crowmarsh Gifford and then back to Reading down the A4074 last night, really enjoyed myself :)

That sounds about right. Next time you're thinkin of heading out that way give me or warthog a shout. could meet up at Fox's diner to say hi. Be good to put a face to the name. Those are some great roads to practice on to get yer confidence up.
