View Full Version : Simpsons Movie better than the Transformers movie
Saw it last night down the Imax & I liked it.
As opposed to Transformers it had a plot, comedy, action & romance (Homer & Spider-pig).
All the vital ingredients that Transformers sadly lacked.

the Simpson's movie is class but then all the Simpson's episodes are class, i enjoyed them both but i'm naff at recommending films.
Meh - no contest, 50' robots vs a fat yellow guy - Transformers wins. ;)
I was a bit dissapointed in the Simpsons movie, not much, but then I didn't go to see it with that high hopes anyway.
They are victims of thier own success perhaps - plot was a bit like an overly long 'regular' episode... anything new, meh, already done it on a previous episode.
It was funny, but a bit lacking.

I thought that to, just shows how good the TV episodes are IMHO. I enjoyed the film though.
I havent seen transformers yet I want to though.
Simpsons was great, for the first 30 minutes and then it manages to finish off with a decent mediocrity most films cannot attain. It's still a good film, but the Flanders worship was a bit much IMHO.

I really liked the Simpsons, and Michael Bay and Transformers can take a long walk off a short pier if you ask me.
Definitely Simpsons for me.
