Now I know I didn't do the tour on my SV as it was still being repaired, but it was still a 650 Suzuki V-Twin that i did it on! (My dads V-Strom)
So here are the pictures for anyone that is interested:

Correct unfortunately...
We were following a car (had been following for maybe a mile or so?) with Mick behind, then Dave, then me.
We came to a VERY tight left-hand corner (over 90 degrees) where you couldn't see the exit to the corner, and just after the corner, the road narrowed slightly.
Just as the car got around the corner, there happened to be another car coming the other way, so the car slammed on their brakes and stopped.
Mick grabbed the front brake, front wheel locked up, and due to a dodgy camber of the road, the wheel went from under him, and into the back of the car him and the bike goes!
Dave with his dodgy rusty brakes, already around the corner, managed to stop in time without locking up.
Now, with the car stopping straight after the corner, with both bikes behind it, it left me no room to go to actually brake on stop, so I ended up going to the right to avoid going into the back of them all, braked but my front wheel also locked up with the dodgy camber, and I ran out of road, going up the bit of grass verge, over the wall at the end of the grass (which launched me up a foot in the air) before coming down the other side of the wall (a 4 foot drop or so) into a field, and I bailed out mid-air. According to those that car, it looked quite stunt-like! lol.
Unfortunately, Mick who went into the back of the car couldn't carry on due to the damage with the bike, although the V-Strom was alright bar a few scratches! :D
And thanks for dragging that photo up Richie :smt067:p

WoW! Some trip!! Good one!! Quite like the pic of 'Pykes the Jewellers'. (I got the irony!!) Nasty off though.:smt103
Is this this place where you fill up, and have to pay acroos the road? Not to far from Applecross ?
If so, prices have increased by 5p since I was there in 2005.

OMG...:smt103 This photo wasn't per chance taken by the sea at a small village called Silecroft about 4 miles from Millom.....?
I used to work in the local pub called "The Minors Arms" in Silecroft for a bit before I joined up.
I'm going to visit my Parents tomorrow, so I'm gonna try and find this sign... ;-)

Yep! That was the place where you have to pay across the road, and also not too far from AppleCross - that was the most expensive petrol we managed to find... however, it turned out that there was also another petrol station less than a mile down the road, that was 5p per litre cheaper!!! Ooo... how I was annoyed!
And the sign was in a toilet next to a car-park in Millom itself, thought it was hilarious at the time! :-D

I loved it! Although possibly because it was the only night we stayed in a proper hotel rather than a youth hostel or a pub! (Don't ask...)
Some of the photos around the place (not just the bar, the corridors and rooms too) were amazing! :)

Brilliant! It's great on Fridays as there's always some old rockers playing. It is a little bit harley-esque though!
Looks like an ace trip :) -V-strom was probably a better bike to do it on anyway ;)

Dare I say it... Yep! Felt very odd getting back on the SV and realising quite how much pressure goes on the wrists, oh... and not to mention the back strain! If only the V-Strom looked a bit more sporty
