View Full Version : Brake Pedal Fix!
After my off a couple of weeks ago, I still haven't got a brake pedal found. I took the bike in to have a new front tyre put on a few days ago and when I picked it up, I had a brake!

Hole drilled in the lever and the bolt shoved through with a nut each side of the lever and what looks like a rubber sleeve around the bolt.
Obviously not a permenant fix, but it's good 'til I find a cheap pedal.

You can make that permanent... Tap the hole in the lever, and threadlock the bolt in, solid as standard if it's done right. You can buy the rubber bits off Ebay to make it look neater, or scav a spare off an old lever. I don't think anyone ever noticed mine had been broken 3 times :)
Or buy a Harris toe spigot for £5.50 for a really good finish. Agree with the threadloc whole heartedly :salut: .
