Wouldn't have thought it was needed on an Sv 650. They were popular for Harleys and 80's machinery where the forks were pretty weedy.
Now I like bolt-on bling bits :takeabow: but that does look a pretty cr*ppy bit of kit. The engraving, or what ever it is, looks dreadful.:pukel:
I think 41mm is very weedy.

OK OK it looks err great?
Once again folks, I was aksing if anybody had one, not whether you thought it was nice looking.
Anywayz I see one on fleabay cheap so I'll get it and try it out.
I do believe Burner had one, i think he beat me to it on ebay. But maybe that was something else......it was feckin ages ago! :D
I think he said it made just a little noticeable difference, but for the better obviously. His was a different design, not a one piece billet item, ISTR.
Thanks Haggis, I'll PM burner and ask him.

I wouldn't say it does nothing, stiffness, (easy now, I mean stiffness in your chassis parts), is a good thing obviously, that said I don't recall anyone suggesting that the SV forks suffer from flex, or at least not in any way that was problematic.
So it may not be utterly necessary, but then every little helps.
