Anyone up for a pre-shandy blast ? I appreciate suggesting we actually go out on bikes is against the spirit of the massive, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Yep I'll be there. Prob won't have time for a pre shandy blast tho as I don't get home till about 7:30. :(
I had a goood ride on the Fleet bends the other day. Was being followed by some guy on a Dayotna in Jeans, t-shirt and trainers. So I showed him the safety (cough) benfit of wearing leather trousers with sliders on. I like to do my part! :rolleyes:
Won't be there much before 7:30 myself. so could be a twilight blast. Get more bugs that way too.

Where were you thinking? I guess I might be talked into a crazed insane speed fest. :p Just kidding, after work I'm pretty pooped so I like to ride with a little more margin for error. I'll leave work a little early that way we can fit in the ride and still get to the pub before the early risers (falc) have to go home to bed. :)
A30 down to A339, then turn right after the bridge up to Ayrelsford, wiggle through to A272, A32, A329, A30, Ely Or something like that.

Where you want to meet?
Lets meet at the Ely at 7:15 - 7:30. That way if either of us are delayed / cancel we can either go for an early Shandy with the non-riding massive or solo-ride or perhaps even find a massivist who may want to come along too.
I've also found what I think may be the best sliproad ever. It's off the A3 one junction away from the 272 and is a chicane. You can get both knees down, although probably not both at the same time unless it's all gone horribly Pete-Tong

For some reason I had a KD Lang mental image pop into my head consisting of a pair of ladies of a certain disposition. Now that's a subject for an entirely different forum.

If anyone it put off by Dan's hooligan reputation, I can assure you I will be progressing at a relatively sedate pace given I've been up at 5 every morning for the last 8 weeks thanks to new baby daughter so brain is working at half speed anyway.

Not sure If I will be there on time tonight. Some idiot decided it would be a great idea to do a network migration at 6pm. I'll be at the Ely as soon as I can, hopefully before 8. If I'm not there before say, 7:45 feel free to hoon off without me. I'll sit in the pub with a cold one.

Have got other reasons. Have to check how much my service is gonna cost me on Saturday is one. Have a few other issues.
