Dont know if I will get flamed for this, but it may be of value to someone so I will post it anyway.

I was in HG Cheltenham today and they had three AC-11s (M, L, XL) for £39 each. I was gutted. They are £200 lids which have had great reviews in Ride magazine. I would have left with one, but sadly they didn't have my size.

Wont be able to get there before the weekend. Could be worth giving them a call? 01242 515525

See what they say. If they can sell it to you over the phone but are not able to post it to you, I could go collect it at the weekend and post it for you.

Obviously I would be reluctant to buy it myself and be stuck with a lid that wasn't compatible with my bonce! PM me with a phone number if you want to talk about this......

Cheers

Yeah I see your reckoning, I will give them a call tomorrow, hopefully it won't have gone by then!

If you could do that that would be great, I'll send you a PM tomorrow if the call works out!

Cheers!

phantomtek: you could arrange a courier to pick it up for you, would only cost £10 or so from parcel2go.com - not that i've got my eye on one of them or anything ;)

Yeah I rang em up, processed all the details, then she said she would ring up checking office or something as it would be delivered to me, and then she rang me back and said they won't do it cos its a solo card :(

And I can't get anyone to collect because they would need to take my card in to show them :(

Just as an update to this, I took a trip down to my local HG to try on a lid as I thought I was a L but wanted to make sure as I had my eye on a XR1000 in Harris rep colours which I adore (£300 though), so I got in and saw them lined up, expecting them to be £180 I was pleasantly surprised to see them at £130! With the discounted Shivas at £49 sat next to them (May be worth ringing a few different HG's up lone wolf, seems not only Chelts have them discounted). But I decided I wanted the Dragon style not the Shiva (May go back and buy a Shiva for my pillion though at that price.)

Tried the large on and it was abit too big for me, so tried a medium and asked the guy which I should get, and he said medium as it is the better fit, so I, without thinking, said 'I'll have that one then'. As soon as I left the store with my spanking new lid, I realised that the Dragon in my colour and my new size were on ebay for £100 delivered! Bast.ard!

Oh well, I got it there and then, I'm sure it fits and I don't have to wait for the delivery guy, so I'm happy! The helmet itself is amazing, very light, looks great, has an antifog visor, which try as I may I couldn't fog up which will come in VERY handy, and it has a neat locking system so the visor won't fly open as when its closed it is locked! Very comfy, and very quiet, can almost hear myself think! But haven't taken it at high speeds yet so we'll see.

Now, wheres them tinted visors?
