Hello all, I hate for this thread to be my first post but, it is what it is:

2001 SV650 Naked model (non S) Blue for sale with only 3250 miles! This bike is in Excellent condition and it has never been down. It looks brand new. I have people thinking it is a 2007 (yes that clean!).
Well maintained, always garaged.

It is basically stock with a few mods:
Viper Slip-on
Bar-end mirrors
Rear-set Risers
I have all OEM parts even stock tires.

It has brand new Michelin Pliot power tires on her with less then 50 miles (still has the nipples around the tire.

I only put on 250 miles in 2 seasons with the bike. I just have no time to ride is why I am selling. I am the second owner.

Asking 3,500.00

[RANT ON]

I will NEVER understand you Yanks......

That bike would have cost $7000 ish, so its cost you/previous owner $1 per mile done on it.

Assuming by 2 seasons you mean 2 years, then thats less miles in 2 years than I have done in the last 2 weeks

Why do you even bother buying bikes?

I was looking into going down to Daytona Bike week with a friend who lives in Indiana this year, I couldn't believe it when I found a major part of the site was companies advertising to SHIP bikes to the event and then back again.

WTF !!!!

<Looks outside at 15,000 mile early '04 Daytona, 26,000 mile late '03 SV650 and agrees with every word>

2 years ago I worked out I was doing 45,000 miles a year in my company Golf, and a further 20,000 miles a year split between 3 bikes. Nowadays, even though I'm sort of semi-retired and doing odds and sods at home most days, I'm still clocking up an average of 400 miles a week purely for pleasure.

If I'm going to lose money on selling vehicles, I'll get plenty of pleasure from them first.
