Upside Down Speed Camera Signs

Hi all...
A few months back I noticed that a few speed camera signs near where I live had been turned upside down - then during the coastal tour I did, it seemed to be a more and more common theme all over the country! With the only trend being that they were turned upside down where there wasn't a speed camera there.

Has anyone else noticed this at all?

Nope, not seen this one yet. But good on them, it drives me nuts when they put signs up willy nilly and there isn't actually a camera there.

The sign is there so if they wanted, they can put a mobile camera there, Mobile sites still need sign-age.

no signs are needed for the hairdryer method tho :(
