Put one on mine, (K5 but same fitting I'd imagine). Basically assemble the two halves of the belly pan first, remember to insert the rubber grommets on the four mounting holes. Then fix the two brackets to the engine cases (these are, if I recall correctly about 10nm torque) - you may have to line up the belly pan to see where the brackets go but it's really obvious once you do that. The tough ones are the back mounts which go onto the engine mount bolts, these are at 45nm or thereabouts. The left hand side one appears to also hold vital parts of the sidestand on, but I fixed it whilst it was resting on only the sidestand and I didn't get squashed, so can be done with care.

Is the rear bolt on the left the huge allen bolt which seems to hold all the side stand gear?

if so which side of the bracket does it go on?

or is it the bolt nearer the centre of the bike?

you'd think there'd be some instructions somewhere:rolleyes:
