Well, with some cash burning a hole in my pocket I decided it was time for a new bike. So, for the last month and a half I have been looking for an SV650s pointy in blue.
The problem is that just about every bike I've been after seems to have outstanding finance or the buyer wants silly money. It's driving me mad as I just want to buy a bike!!!!

Hi, you don't say what your budget is, but yeah thats my auction above ending tomorow. Now the bike has got outstanding finance, but I will be paying this all off as soon as the bike is sold, as I am £300 short of paying it off just now otherwise I would. feel free to check out my posts, and/or speak to anyone in the sv ecosse section, most of them know me by now. pm me if you're interested.
Oh and it is blue, just a lighter silvery blue, lol.

Hi Guys
My budget is £2500 - seems to be a good choice at that sort of money at the moment as the market seems quite flat.
The only thing is, it has to be in the blue. I've set my heart on this colour!
Cheers

To be honest I prefered the blue aswell (shhhhhhh!), but I didn't like the 2006 *greeny* blue, so ended up going for the silvery blue instead as they'd just sold out of the k5 models.
Ah well good luck in your hunt, theres usually plenty of Svs around so you shouldn't have too much trouble.
You've just got to keep looking everywhere. Have you tried autotrader? I wanted a yellow curvy and was internet most days looking for one, then one day I went on ebay and saw a yellow curvy, 20 miles away, in my price range. A few days later and it was in my shed  Don't give up.
i have a yellow curvy (see sig) which is rumered to be blue

I am looking at the moment for a new SV, calling the dealers for their best offer on price and any additional equipment - With 0% finance on the cards, I will be putting down 2K and financing the rest! Cheap as chips that way round.....do you want to go down the 0% credit route!

If you open an image of a yellow curvy in paint, then click 'invert colours' - it turns BLUE! :smt100

Good point, all SVs are in fact blue at birth so you can just buy any bike and take the top layer of paint off, like what Hovis did.
