Coincidence - just fitted mine not 10 mins ago. I used the screws from the chainguard on one side. On mine I used the bolt once I removed that bit of plastic behind the rear shock, and then took the bolt out from the thingy that holds the rear brake line in place and used that. I then cut the clip thingy off with a hacksaw - the line of brakeline is so short I didnt think it needed it.

if the hugger fits flush to the swingarm all the way around the only thing i can think of is cut out a little notch, or redirect the brake pipe by taking the caliper off?

On the huggers I've seen the brake line runs "outside" them. As in you really shouldn't need to cut holes for it.

the bolts are to short on the chain gard. plus it looks **** with it sort of on. so i think its going in the bin!

You've got a curvey havent you ?

You shouldnt need to faff about with the brake pipe side.

Should be two bolts that were holding the chain guard on and then by the shock is a little piece of plastic that stops mud being thrown onto the shock, theres a bolt in there that you'll need to undo as well, the hugger wont fit flush with that in the way...

Doh beaten to it, by Biker Billy !!
