The title sais it...replaced clutch rod on bike, now the bike wont even turn on...if i jump the battery it starts, but once its killed, the bike wont turn back on...any help? Thanks
Surely this is just a coincidence? I don't see what the clutch rod has got to do with starting. Simply sounds like a dead battery to me. Has it been stood a while waiting for you to do this work? Are the lights nice and bright? If you have a voltmeter put it on the battery - I'd expect about 12.5v or more if it's healthy.

correct me if im wrong but isn't the sensor to let the bike start right on the clutch lever? if it is there like im almost positive it is then it should be a coincidence like nedsvs said

(ignore this post, it was total rubbish, I didn't read the original post right)
The fact that it starts if he jump leads the battery rules out the clutch lever and sidestand safetey switch. If anything was wrong with either of these it still wouldn't start with jump leads!

Ok took the battery to an auto store, they couldnt even charge it...battery was somehow fried, just happened to coincide with the clutch rod. Thanks again
