Right first off this is not one of those who's the cheapest threads.
My insurance is up for renewal in the next couple of months and it got me thinking... I have a multi-bike policy for the SV and my CBR, I have had it for a few years now as the CBR although not used was parked out side. The CBR still is not back on the road, and I doubt it will be for a while so what are my options for insuring it? Basically I only need cover for if it goes missing.
If i still keep it insured through a multi-bike policy as its currently undergoing major modification do I need to declare this? Basically I'm fed up with insurance as due to my age I have to make a lot of phone calls to get a reasonable price. I'm fed up also with explaining not only what a motorcycle is and the fact I own more than one, but each time I have to give a history lesson on the gray import market and my bike.
So in summary whats the best way to insure a bike that is not used on the road?
