Wont load some pages properly. On here buttons dont work for message options such as picture, colour etc. GMail wont load only in HTML format, not graphic format. Flash images dont work. All fine in IE7. Ideas? (I need an IT problem of the day running thread at the mo (sad emoticon which wont work when I click it...)

A strange Bristolian colloquialism, perchance? ;)

If you use Firefox I highly recommend the NoScript (http://noscript.net/getit) add on - its great once you get it configured for the sites you use reguarly :)

Sorry if this is considered hijacking a thread :P ...
I have just re-installed my laptop (Windows XP), and have re-installed Firefox.
Problem I have is that ever since I re-installed Firefox, I now can't scroll using my Synaptics Touchpad (can't use the button that doubles as a mouse-wheel, and I also can't use the "drag sections" of the pad, where you slide your finger down the side and it is supposed to scroll in the direction of finger movement).
Anyone had this? Anyone know a fix for it? I applied a fix for this previously but I can't remember what the fix was (d'oh!)

Cheers,
Pete

go into control panel, select mouse.
then the last tab.... Device Settings
high light Synaptics touchpad
then click on Settings
below Overview you'll see "Tapping" click there and check the "Enable Tappings" box.

and all the other setting are there too.

Cheers Richie, had a look at those settings last nite, but still no joy :(

I'll have to continue to trawl t'internet for a solution.

Unless anyone else has any suggestions (that don't involve going back to using Internet Exploiter ;))?
