k3/k4

anyone know if there is any difference in a k3/k4 undertray??

I would have thought so.

The K4 subframe was different to the K3 to lower the seat, the fuse box was moved to the space under the pillion seat as there was no room under the rider's seat. The toolbox then ended up by the rear shock.

Anything will fit with enough work but I'd imagine these 2 components would be different.

been on ermax website and they state the k3/k4 is the same, and the k5+ ones are diff coz of the tool kit placement

Humm, may well be right then, just working off my (rather dozy) memory. I know K3 was different to K4 & K5, but it may be they did it in stages? Alternativly the main change may have been at K5 rather than K4. *Shrug*
