Ok its a really bad shot taken by hand as i dont have a tripod but if you saw it then you'll have an idea of why i took it.
Any guesses?

Spiderman

all pretty good guesses so far...but none of you are right.
Cant be a UFO cos i know what it is, hence its an identified flying object.
It was way up high in the sky so not a bat or wildlife of any kind.
It was way more amazing to watch it streak across the sky than this crappy photo shows.
Keep them guesses coming :D

shooting star?
You ever seen a shooting star Quiff??? If you have then how the heck do you think i managed to get my camera out and turn it on etc to take that shot.
Every shooting star i've ever seen lasted less than a second or so.

International Space Station, at about 10:30pm?
Aha!! Ladys and germs...we have a WINNER!!!
It was indeed the ISS on Sunday night just after 10pm here. Started high above the horison but looked just like a star. Until it got bigger and brighter. And brighter! I was out the front out the house watching it and lucky for me front faces west and rear faces east...exactly the path it was taking. Watching it come towards us was amazing but seeing it just dissapear into space was beyond words!!.
Anyone else witness this?

for sure!
but also brought back memories of watching Star Wars n things like that when i was a kid. I never thought in my lifetime i'd see spaceships that we made cross the night sky so blatantly clear for us to see.
Ok i know its not quite as advanced as an X-wing fighter but you get my drift right?
internation space station eh?
it does look like a tiny dragon 225!
good work on getting that, is the wobble just camera wobble? or is it that far away the light stretches or goes wierd? or should i not even think of being a nerd?

TBH, seeing a leaf makes Spidey feel insignificant. He's got a very low self image, bless him...

Edit: Space station? Why did they make the space station look like a dragon? To scare off the aliens? :alien:

No not nerdy at all mate.
i was bracing myself up against a doorframe to reduce the wobble and it was a very long exposure so i was quite pleased it didnt come out as bad as it could have done.
And it does look like a dragon when you zoom closer in to it dont it? lol.
And as for me and giggling like a little boy when i se leaves fall... you been spying on me again you lot? 8-[
