View Full Version : What to do tonight?
Help me decide. Shall I go for a jog when I get home from work or shall I be lazy and lie on the sofa all night?
Sofa, unless the jog ends with alchohol / food.

No alcohol but i will probably eat supper afterwards if i go for a jog.

Go for a jog....you will appreciate it being able to do it when you can't. Plus its always good to bask in the afterglow of a workout :)
Then go home and eat/drink loads of crap and lie on the sofa to negate the positive effect of the jog....

Oh dear. Jogging is so bad for you. When will you joggers understand this???
Go for a nice swim instad if you feel you need to burn off some energy. Works more muscle groups and is zero impact and a much better cardio workout too.

it was drizzling for the last 5 minutes of my jog yesterday and it was surprisingly pleasant

yep i know, thats why I got to the pitches, lace up my boots, wack on the mp3 and run around the pitches for awhile. (work on fitness for football)
Less impact, builds your strengh more than road running, the same way that running in the sand does!

don't like getting wrinkly
too late ;)
There are some ladies who shouldn't jog ;)
Spidey's right - jogging is bad for the knee ans hips. Running full tilt is less damaging in the long term.
If you don't like swimming then try either cycling or an hour's 5-a-side footy
too late ;)

Think she'd rather jog
i was gonna go jogging but it rained hard plus i had a long day at office (starting at 7 finishing ay 5.30) i opted for nice hot bath and 1 glass of ice cold white wine then the sofa and tv
I wouldn't suggest going jogging as its going dark now and having previously lived in place that was more like beirut i'd choose the couch

The optimum "nice evening in" - should be an option in the poll :D
I shall be doing likewise, having just been under-charged at Spar for a bottle of Lindeman's Shiraz....... £4.49

On topic with regards to the donkeys, but off topic in relation to the thread.....why the hell do we have donkey sanctuaries and why the hell do we give £'s to them?
We have plenty of donkeys knocking around...sure save panda/dodo's etc....but donkeys ffs. They are just fat horses!
...and breath.

Nah.....even though i have absoloutely zero justifiable need of a second bike....i was thinking that at that price it might be worth a punt. If you dont like it you could sell it on for similar, or not make too big a loss.
It could be a hack/really bad weather weapon. After insuring the R6 everything else seems cheap!
As it happens the op is well timed, in that i will miss the worst of the winter weather, so there really is little need for it.
Maybe next year

3rd September...so whats that 2 1/2 weeks.
Long story short they're borrowing ligaments from the front of my right knee and the left knee to fix the knadgered ones in my right knee.....happy days. I will be doing my utmost not to contract MRSA or anything of that ilk.
