Hello all Selling my own

K4 on 05 plate.
Black full fairing (I bought brand new lowers as I wanted some lower protection from the elements).
13.5K
Bought and Full history from Colin Collins Letchworth but last one done by me with original Suzuki parts as Colin Collins gone bust  and lost out on the warranty. I am third owner.
Last service put EBC hard pads all the way round and new tyres. All have about 4K use
It isn’t mint has few scratches etc worst being the top corner of the fairing where previous own scratched it.
Got Meta alarm and loom to go with bike. Bought it but never got round to fitting it. Also got red tag and two fob's
Alpha Dot from new.
Also bought a exhaust rear section with Can cut off as I was going to sports can on and didn’t fancy cutting the original.
Also have some crush bun's
Double bubble fitted as been touring. Have original screen
Tidy Tail, have original but cracked where someone in London wanted to check if I had enough tread on my rear tyre one day :smt021
Taken it to couple of dealers and both described it as very good condition haven’t p/x it as they didn’t have the bike I wanted.
The only reason I’m selling is that I have decided to go back to In-line 4 engines and have my eyes set on a ZX12R.
Otherwise this bike has been amazing, very very cheap to run IMO and had one year of happy riding on it (well nearly a year lol)

I would love to get close to £3000 but I cant see it happening looking at the prices people putting up so going to start with 2800 ovno.
Also getting 6 month more road tax from end of this month included in the sale. MOT doesnt start until March 08.
I am based in Palmers Green in north London

Again I will put up the pics of my bike this evening as well.

personaly just come back from one dealer and price he offered me is just under £2800 so your def getting your moneis worth with mine. Pity he acted like a **** and asked way to much for the ZX9R if not I would have taken it.

Sadly plans for the ZX12R gone out of the window now its ZX9R lol

going to get the pics etc for my dad's mate one.

That’s very true

But I would have thought bike like this, which is a great commuter, cheap, easy to ride, perfect for beginners would sell like hot cakes.

Oh well Ill keep my fingers crossed. Planning to hit a few more dealers over next week to see if I can find my next one :D

Just remember though, most of us have one. Its only going to be newbies, and mates that might want one. Hope it sells soon.

For insurance reasons?

not really insurance only £130 more a year which isnt the killer for me

its the service and parts wear that was a shocker

at present on the SV its about £500-600 a year

the ZX9R is going to be about £700

but the ZX12r come in at a lovely £1100 :( and that me trying to behave myself :(

That incluse min of one front tyre and two rears, set of pads all round and three services and chain and sprockets

with the ZX12r im looking at min three rears and being 200 wide means my pockect will get it, serivce on the ZX12r is more due to the frame going over the engine so takes longer to work on and just eats chains and sprockets same as the busa :(

it is a pity as i do love the bike but as commuter, costs are way to much especially when I have a show car and track day car as well :(
