My front tyre went flat today due to a faulty valve, which has now been replaced and the bike feels like it can go round corners again. However, I'm concerned there may have been damage to the tyre whilst i was riding - i wasnt aware that the problem was with the front tyre until i got close to home, and had to travel on dual carrigways for a bit beforehand. Overall, i think i rode for 15-20 mins with a very deflated tyre (its a metzeler MEZ6 by the way)

mmmmm, how deflated is very deflated. If you have put air in it and can't see any unusual bulges etc on the wall or tread then you may be ok. In so far as internal damage, i assume it wasn't so flat that you were running the rims of the wheel on the tyre wall - that would have caused internal wear, but I'd have thought if they were that flat the bike would have been unrideable, or at lease very unstable. i have killed a tyre before in my car my driving on it flat (had a rapid loss of pressure at 80mph on the motorway - tyre was salvageable other than the damage caused by the wheel rim rubbing on the tyre).
if in doubt take it to the local tyre place and get em to take it off and check. should charge about £10.

It was so flat that yes, it was unstable. Felt like it didnt want to turn, so very physical ride home....
I think my dad is gonna take it off and check it anyway, but i just wanted some other opinions incase I need to get ready for another wack to my wallet :(
